Logycore can require a photo as part of completing a recurring task — so staff attach visual proof (a clean floor, a restocked shelf, a tidied stockroom) and you can see it was actually done. The photo is saved to the completion report alongside who completed the task and when.
Who can use this feature?
- Available on: All paid plans
- Require a photo on a task: Admins and the Owner
- Attach the photo when completing: All Workspace Members with access to the location
Two ways to attach a photo
| When to use | Who controls it | |
|---|---|---|
| Required photo | The task isn't done until a photo is attached — e.g. a daily "photo report" of the sales floor | Admin sets it on the task |
| Optional photo (comment) | Staff want to flag context — damage, a variance, a blocked aisle — when they complete | Any member can add one |
Require a photo on a task (Admin)
Turn a recurring task into a photo report: staff cannot mark it complete until they upload an image.

- Click Task Lists and select the location.
- Create a new task or open an existing one in edit mode.
- Scroll to the Required Confirmation section.
- Switch on Upload image.
- Click Save.
From now on, every occurrence of this task requires a photo before it can be completed.
Tip: Link the task to a Knowledge Base Page (for example a Visual Merchandising Standards page) so staff can see exactly what "good" looks like before they take the photo. See Create a recurring task.
Attach the photo when completing (Staff)

- In Task Lists, open the task on the calendar.
- Under Completed by, select who performed the task.
- In the Required Confirmation section, click Upload file (or drag the photo onto the drop area) and choose your image.
- Supported formats: .jpg, .png — max file size 4 MB.
- Click Mark complete.
If a photo is required and you haven't added one, Logycore won't let you complete the task — you'll see "Upload is required to mark this task as complete."
Add an optional photo to any task
Even when a photo isn't required, you can attach one (or a short video) to explain what you found:
- Open the task and select Completed by.
- In the Comment section, add a note and attach a file.
- Click Mark complete.
See it on the completion report
Once submitted, the photo is stored on the task's completion report with the staff member's name and the completion time — so an Admin reviewing the day's tasks can open the report and see the visual proof, not just a green tick.

Try it in the live demo
You can see photo reports working right now, without an account, in the interactive demo:
- Open the demo and switch to the Admin or Editor role.
- Go to Task Lists → the Daily Checklist.
- Open "Photo report: main floor displays before opening" — it's set up as a required-photo task.
